Yarmouk Camp, Syria | January 27, 2026 — Global Hayat–Malaysia as distributed fuel aid consisting of 20 liters of diesel to 190 Palestinian refugee families in Yarmouk Camp, This initiative is part of a winter relief mission designed to assist vulnerable communities facing extreme cold weather.
The distribution of this aid was carried out as most refugee families face a lack of heating sources, consequently increasing health risks, especially for children, the elderly, and vulnerable groups. In conditions where living spaces are severely limited, the need for fuel becomes a critical factor for daily survival.
The Necessity of Heating in Extreme Winter
According to the organizers, a primary concern for refugee families in Yarmouk Camp is ensuring that their children can sleep warmly and safely at night. Low temperatures without adequate heating supplies place a massive strain on their daily lives.
This diesel contribution provides temporary relief to parents, enabling them to provide basic heating throughout the long winter season. Beyond improving safety and comfort, this aid helps reduce the emotional and physical burdens borne by refugee families.
Humanitarian Commitment and Refugee Dignity
This winter aid initiative aims to ensure that refugee families can navigate extreme weather conditions with greater safety and dignity. It reflects a practical aid approach that focuses on the actual needs found on the ground.
Global Hayat–Malaysia expresses its gratitude to the donors who supported this mission. These contributions have helped bring warmth to the lives of hundreds of refugee families living in deprivation.
"Every family has the right to go through winter safely and protected," stated the organizers.
