GAZA / MALAYSIA The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains at a critical level following the prolonged conflict that has affected the basic needs of the local population. Recognizing this urgent need, Komuniti Dakwah Tarbiah (KDT) has mobilized various aid initiatives through the Gaza Emergency Fund, focusing on the survival and welfare of affected families.

Throughout the period of May to June 2025, KDT successfully implemented several key aid projects that directly benefited the residents of Gaza, particularly the most affected groups such as children, the elderly, and refugee families.

Financial Assistance & Basic Necessities

Among the main initiatives mobilized is the distribution of direct financial aid to Gaza families to cover daily needs, including food, baby essentials, and basic expenses. This assistance was tailored according to the situation and needs of each recipient family.

In addition, a hot meal distribution project was carried out in conjunction with the Day of Arafah, involving several settlement areas and benefiting hundreds of residents amidst the food supply shortage.

Hygiene Kits and Firewood Supplies

In an effort to ensure the health and hygiene levels of the residents remain protected, hygiene kits were distributed to communities in refugee camps. This aid is vital to reduce the risk of disease in an environment with limited resources.

KDT also channeled firewood supplies to help residents prepare daily meals following the shortage of energy sources. This aid benefited thousands of recipients and has become an essential requirement in their daily lives.

Transparent Implementation & Field Partner Cooperation

All aid projects were implemented in collaboration with trusted field partnersto ensure that assistance reached the target recipients effectively and in an organized manner. Aid reports were also accompanied by photographic documentation and a project breakdown according to location and the number of recipients.

This step reflects KDT's commitment to the principles of transparency, accountability, and trust, in line with the confidence given by contributors.

Call to Continue Humanitarian Support

According to KDT, the needs in Gaza are ongoing, and the aid channeled today has the potential to be a lifesaver for tomorrow. Continuous support from the community is greatly needed to ensure more families can be assisted and basic needs can be met.
